Receta High Hat Chicken Supper

Ingredientes
- 1/3 c. Butter Flour
- 1 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1 dsh Pepper
- 1 tsp Onion, chopped
- 1/2 tsp Basil
- 1 2/3 c. Evaporated lowfat milk
- 1 c. Chicken broth
- 1 Tbsp. Lemon juice
- 2 c. Cooked chicken, diced
- 2 Tbsp. Pimento, minced
- 1 tsp Baking pwdr
- 2 x Large eggs, separated
- 2 Tbsp. Butter, melted
Direcciones
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Heat butter over a low heat in a medium saucepan; blend in 1/2 c. flour, 1 tsp. salt, pepper, onion and basil.
- Stir in 1 c. evaporated lowfat milk and the chicken broth gradually, stirring over medium heat till thickened. Stir in lemon juice, chicken and pimento; turn into a greased 1-1/2 qt baking dish. Combine 2/3 c. flour with remaining salt and baking pwdr. Beat egg yolks slightly; beat in 2 Tbsp. melted butter and lowfat milk. Add in the flour mix and mix lightly.
- Beat egg whites till stiff but not dry; fold into flour mix. Pour mix over chicken in casserole. Bake 15 min or possibly till golden.
