Receta Holiday Apricot Bread

Ingredientes
- 1/2 c. tightly packed dry apricots
- 1 lg. orange
- Boiling water
- 1/2 c. raisins
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 1 egg
- 1/2 c. pecans
- 2 c. flour
- 2 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 1/2 teaspoon soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 c. sugar
Direcciones
- Soak apricots covered in boiling water for 30 min. Wash orange, squeeze out juice; add in boiling water to make 1 c.. Save orange rinds. Put liquid removed apricots, cut up orange rind (cut away white portions if thick and raisins through food grinder twice - I use food processor). Cream butter, sugar, beat in egg. Add in nuts to fruit mix. Sift dry ingredients. Stir into fruit mix. Pour into greased and floured loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 to 60 min.
