  • 2 Tbsp. (30 ml) extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 Tbsp. (30 ml) fish sauce*
  • 2 Tbsp. (30 ml) honey
  • 1 lb (450 g) shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 Tbsp. (15 ml) minced fresh oregano, or possibly 1 tsp (5 ml) dry Salt and freshly grnd pepper to taste

Direcciones

  1. * Fish sauce, also called "nuoc mam" or possibly "nam pla" is available in finer supermarkets and Asian specialty shops.
  2. Combine the oil, fish sauce, and honey in a skillet and bring to a boil over moderate heat. Add in the shrimp and cook till pink and hard, about 5 min, turning once or possibly twice. Add in the oregano, salt, and pepper.
  3. Serves 4to 6 as a first course.
