Receta Hot And Sour Oven Fried Turkey

Ingredientes
- with Candied Garlic Sauce Serves 4
- 1/2 c. finely crushed cornflakes (125mL)
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch (25 mL)
- 1/2 tsp pepper (2 mL)
- 2 tsp paprika (10 mL)
- 1 lb boneless, skinless turkey meat (500 g)
- 1 x egg white, lightly beaten (1) Vegetable oil spray
- 4 x cloves garlic, sliced lengthwise (4)
- 5 Tbsp. white sugar (90 mL)
- 1/2 c. white wine vinegar (125 mL)
- 1/2 tsp warm red pepper flakes (2 mL)
- 1/4 c. finely sliced red bell pepper (50 mL)
Direcciones
- 1. Preheat oven to 400F/200C.
- 2. Combine coating fold in plastic bag and set aside.
- 3. Cut turkey into 1/2 inch/1 cm cubes. Stir turkey into egg whites. Toss with coating fold in plastic bag.
- 4. Lightly coat baking sheet with vegetable oil spray. Arrange turkey on sheet and bake for 20 min. Remove turkey from oven and let stand for 5 min.
- 5. Meanwhile, in medium saucepan, combine sauce ingredients, bring to boil and continue to cook till sauce is reduced and turned light brown. Toss turkey in finished sauce.
- 6. Add in sliced red bell pepper, cover and heat over medium heat for 1 minute.
- Transfer to platter and serve.
