  1. Preheat oven to 375
  2. Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt in a small bowl.
  3. Beat butter, brown sugar, sugar and vanilla in large mixing bowl till creamed. Then beat in egg.
  4. Gradually beat in flour mixture.
  5. Stir in chips, coconut and nuts.
  6. Drop by slightly rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets
  7. Bake for 8 to 11 minutes or till edges lightly browned.
  8. Cool on sheets for 2 minutes then remove to wire racks to cool.
