Receta Italian Ground Beef Pie

Ingredientes
- 3/4 c. minced celery
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 1/2 c. croutons
- 4 Tbsp. freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 x egg slightly beaten
- 1 lb grnd beef
- 4 Tbsp. minced onion
- 1 x clove garlic chopped
- 4 Tbsp. catsup
- 1 tsp oregano
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1/2 c. sliced mozzarella cheese
Direcciones
- Saute/fry the minced celery in the butter for 5 min, stirring frequently. Remove from the heat and stir in the croutons, Parmesan cheese and egg. Spread this mix over the bottom of a buttered 9 inch pie pan Mix the beef, onion, garlic, catsup, oregano, salt and pepper. Place on top of the "crust" in the pie pan. Bake in a preheated 350 oven for 30 min. Remove from the oven and turn the heat up to 400. Spoon out any excess fat from the pie and cover with the mozzarella slices. Return to the oven for 5 min, or possibly till the cheese is melted and bubbling.
