Receta Italian Style Chicken Casserole

Ingredientes
- 1 1/2 kg chicken (breasts, legs, thighs)
- 1 c. onions, medium
- 2 tsp garlic, crushed
- 60 gm butter
- 1 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
- 4 x tomatoes
- 1 c. red wine
- 1 pkt French onion soup mix
- 1 tsp basil, minced salt, pepper
Direcciones
- Dice onion and tomatoes.
- If using a whole chicken cut into pcs (legs, breasts, thighs, wings) and season well.
- Heat butter and oil in pan, add in chicken, and cook till chicken is browned, turning often.
- Add in finely minced onion and crushed garlic, cook a further 2 min till softened. Transfer to ovenproof dish. Add in tomatoes, wine, gravy, basil, salt and pepper. Mix ingredients slightly.
- Cover, bake in moderate oven 370F/185C for 40 min or possibly till chicken is tender.
