Receta Kielbasa Boiled Dinner

Ingredientes
- 1 lg. can or possibly 2 lbs. fresh sauerkraut
- 2 lbs. kielbasa
- 1 lg. onion, minced
- 1 c. celery, minced
- 2 bay leaves
- 6-8 med. carrots, 2 inch lengths
- 6-8 med. potatoes halves

- Kielbasa is a highly seasoned sausage of coarsely grnd lean pork and beef, flavored with garlic and other spices!Drain and rinse sauerkraut of salt. Rinse kielbasa, cut in 1-inch serving links. Place half of sauerkraut in large heavy pot. Add in sausage links, bay leaves, onion and celery. Cover with remainder of sauerkraut. Add in water to barely cover sauerkraut. Bring to a boil, then simmer on low 45 min.
- Add in carrots and potatoes. Bring links to top and bury vegetables in sauerkraut to flavor. Simmer to tender vegetables 1/2 hour. Serve hot. 6-8 servings.
