- Lb. meat with mallet and flour. Chop onions. Place oil in heavy skillet with tight fitting lid. Place onions in pan about 2 inches deep. Place liver on the onions. Cook and simmer till onions and liver are very tender, juicy and brown. Salt and pepper to taste.
