Receta Lucious Apricot Bars

Ingredientes
- 2/3 c. dry apricots
- 1/2 c. soft butter
- 1/3 c. all purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 1 c. brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 c. enriched flour
- Confectioners' sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 Large eggs, beaten
- 1/2 c. minced nuts
Direcciones
- Sift flours. Rinse apricots, cover with water and bring to a boil, continue to boil for 10 min. Drain; cold and chop. Heat oven. Grease 8 x 8 x 2 pan. Mix till crumbly; butter, granulated sugar and 1 c. of flour. Pack into the pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 min. Sift together the 1/3 c. flour with the baking pwdr and salt. Gradually add in the Large eggs to the brown sugar, add in the flour mix; mix well. Add in the vanilla, nuts, apricots. Spread over the baked layer. Bake 30 min. Cold in pan. Cut into bars. Roll in confectioners' sugar.
