Receta Make Ahead Mushrooms

Ingredientes
- These mushrooms can be stirred into scrambled Large eggs, used as a topping for pizza or possibly added to tomato sauce for pasta or possibly a sauce for steak, chicken or possibly fish.
- 2 lb fresh mushrooms (any variety)
- 4 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
- 2 tsp chopped garlic
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp grnd black pepper
Direcciones
- Trim and slice mushrooms; there should be 10 to 12 c.. Using 2 large skillets or possibly cooking in batches, heat 2 Tbsp. oil in each skillet over medium-high heat. Divide garlic between skillets and cook, stirring, till it is golden brown. Add in mushrooms, cover and cook about 3 min, till mushrooms give up their liquid. Uncover, cook and stir till liquid has evaporated and mushrooms turn golden brown, about 8 min. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Chill and use within a week.
