  1. 1. Combine the salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard and maple syrup in a bowl.
  2. 2. Coat a grill pan or possibly cast-iron skillet with cooking spray and place over medium-high heat. When the pan is warm, add in the steak. Coat the top of the steak with half the sauce mix and cook for 6 min.
  3. 3. Turn the steak and coat the top side with the remaining sauce. Cook another 6 min, or possibly till the steak is nearly cooked to the desired degree of doneness. (It will cook a little more after it has been removed from the heat.)
  4. 4. Transfer the steak to a cutting board and let it sit 3 to 5 min before cutting it into thin strips on the diagonal.
  5. Makes 4 servings.
