Receta Marie Callender's Pumpkin Pie

Ingredientes
- 1/4 c. butter softened
- 1/4 c. shortening
- 1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 Tbsp. granulated sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 x egg yolk
- 2 Tbsp. ice water
- 2 x Large eggs
- 1 can pumpkin - (15 ounce)
- 1/2 c. granulated sugar
- 1/4 c. brown sugar - (packed)
- 1 tsp grnd cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp grnd ginger
- 1/4 tsp grnd cloves plus
- 1/8 tsp grnd cloves
- 3/4 c. whole lowfat milk
Direcciones
- Prepare the crust by beating together the butter and shortening till smooth and creamy. Refrigeratetill hard.
- Sift together the flour, sugar and salt in a medium bowl. Using a fork, cut the chilled butter and shortening into the dry ingredients, till the mix has a consistent texture. Mix egg yolk and ice water into the dough then form it into a ball.
- Roll dough flat on a floured surface and line a 9-inch pie pan.
- Prepare filling by beating two Large eggs. Add in pumpkin and stir well to combine. Combine sugars, cinnamon, ginger and cloves in a small bowl. Stir spice mix into the pumpkin. Stir in lowfat milk till well blended.
- Pour filling into pie shell. Bake in a preheated 425 degree oven for 15 min. Reduce heat to 350 degrees and bake for another 45 to 55 min or possibly till the edge of the pie and the crust is turning light brown. Slice into 6 pcs to serve restaurant-size portions.
