Receta Marlin With Warm Lemon And Oregano Dressing

Ingredientes
- 1 Tbsp. Extra virgin olive oil Salt and freshly grnd black pepper
- 4 x Marlin steaks, approximately 175g (6oz) in weight and 2cm (1 inch) in thickness
- 150 ml Extra virgin extra virgin olive oil, ( 1/4 pint)
- 90 ml Warm water, (3fl ounce)
- 2 x Limes, juice of
- 1 x Clove garlic, finely minced
- 1 x 20 grams pac fresh flat leaf parsley, finely minced
- 1/2 tsp Dry oregano
Direcciones
- Heat the extra virgin olive oil in a large frying pan or possibly griddle pan till very warm.
- Season the marlin steaks with salt and freshly grnd black pepper and cook for 3 min on each side, increasing the cooking time for a thicker steak.
- In the meantime make the dressing; place the extra virgin olive oil in a mixing bowl, then slowly whisk in the warm water and lime juice. Add in the garlic, parsley and oregano and whisk till smooth and emulsified.
- Serve the marlin steaks with the hot dressing drizzled over. Serve immediately.
- NOTES : A quick and easily prepared dish with a hot herby dressing.Ideal served with new potatoes and salad.
