Receta Mary Livingston's Spaghetti And Meat Balls

Ingredientes
- 2 lb grnd round steak
- 3 lrg Large eggs
- 2 slc bread, soaked in water
- 10 ml garlic, mince
- 4 Tbsp. parsley, chop fine
- 2 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 c. onion, chop fine
- 1 c. tomato paste
- 1 1/4 quart water, warm
- 1 dsh soda
- 1 x bay leaf
Direcciones
- Combine ingredients for meatballs; mix thoroughly. Form into balls the size of walnuts. Heat extra virgin olive oil in heavy skillet. Brown meat balls, and remove.
- Combine onion, tomato paste, water, soda, and bay leaf in the skillet with the oil and meat drippings. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat. Simmer for five min.
- Add in the meat balls, continue to simmer for 45 min.
