Receta Mexican Pineapple Dessert With Custard Sauce

Ingredientes
- 1/4 c. Sugar
- 1/4 c. Rum
- 1 x Pineapple
- 4 Tbsp. Butter
- 1/2 c. Sugar
- 2 Tbsp. Cornstarch
- 2 c. Lowfat milk
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 3 x Egg yolks beaten
- 1 tsp Vanilla
Direcciones
- Mix sugar and rum. Slice horizontal wedge from pineapple.Lift top and remove fruit carefully cutting into small chunks. add in sugar and rum to fruit. Return fruit to pineapple. Top with butter and cover entire pineapple with foil. Place on baking sheet. bake 350 for 20 min. Serve hot with chilled custard sauce. For sauce: combine sugar cornstarch, lowfat milk and salt in saucepan. Cook over low heat till smooth and thick ( 15 mins ). add in small amount of cooked custard to egg yolks; mix and pour into remaining custard over heat. Cook several min longer.Remove from heat . add in vanilla and chill. -
