Receta Mexican Style Chili Beef

Ingredientes
- 1 lb Lean beef round steak, fat-trimmed, cut in cubes
- 1 Tbsp. Vinegar
- 1 x Onion, thin sliced
- 2 c. Crushed tomatoes, undrained
- 1 c. Water
- 1 x Fresh warm jalapeno pepper or possibly canned, diced
- 1 x Garlic clove, chopped
- 1 tsp Cumin seeds -=Or possibly=-
- 1/2 tsp Grnd cumin
- 1/4 tsp Dry oregano
Direcciones
- Spray a non-stick pan with cooking spray. Brown the beef cubes over moderate heat. Turn to brown proportionately. Drain and throw away any melted fat.
- Stir in vinegar and onion. Cook and stir just till onion begins to brown.
- Stir in remaining ingredients. Lower heat to simmering. Cover and simmer 1 1/2 to 2 hrs till meat is very tender. Uncover and simmer till sauce is thick. Skim fat, if any. If you like, serve with rice.
