Receta Mixed lettuce salad
This is a very nice recipe to serve with any main meal, especially with meat or chicken. Its very easy to make, and the taste is delicious.
Ingredientes
- 1-2 bags of mixed lettuce
- 2 carrots, shredded
- 1 onion, sliced in small pieces
- 1 red onion, sliced in small pieces
- 1 sm. container of fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 1/2 cup of walnuts
- 1 cup of dried cranberries
- Garlic Mayonnaise dressing:
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 8 cloves garlic, crushed (more can be added if you desire)
- 1 Table. sugar
- 1/3 cup balsamic vinegar or apple cider vinegar
- salt/pepper to taste
Direcciones
- Place the lettuce in a bowl. Add shredded carrots, both onions, and then mushrooms.
- Sprinkle the walnuts and cranberries on top.
- Garlic mayonnaise dressing:
- Mix all ingredients together. Add a little water, if needed, to make a smooth consistency. Adjust seasoning to your taste. Pour over salad- as much dressing as needed.
