Receta Orange 'N Green Salad With Pecan Garlic Dressing

Ingredientes
- 1/2 head romaine lettuce
- 1 bn Spinach
- 1 can Mandarin oranges, well liquid removed
- 1 c. Pecan halves
- 2 Tbsp. Maple syrup
- 1/2 c. Red onion, thinly sliced
- 1/2 c. Extra virgin olive oil
- 1/4 c. Vinegar
- 8 x Pecan halves
- 2 Tbsp. Brown sugar
- 4 x Cloves garlic
- Â Â Salt and pepper, to taste
Direcciones
- In a non-stick fry pan combine pecans and maple syrup and cook till pecans are coated with syrup and are caramelized - remove and cold on a plate.
- Wash spinach and romaine - tear into bite sized pcs and place into a large bowl. Add in oranges and onion slices - cover and chill till ready to serve. Dressing: Place all ingredients into blender and process till well blended. Add in dressing to salad greens - add in caramelized pecans - toss and serve immediately.
