Receta Original Cobb Salad

Ingredientes
- 1/2 head iceberg lettuce finely minced
- 1/2 bn stemmed watercress finely minced
- 1 sm curly endive bunch finely minced
- 1/2 head romaine leaves finely minced
- 2 Tbsp. chopped chives
- 2 x tomatoes peeled, seeded,
- Â Â and diced
- 2 x cooked chicken breasts diced
- 6 x strips bacon cooked, diced
- 1 x avocado peeled, diced
- 3 x hard-boiled Large eggs diced
- 1/2 c. Roquefort cheese crumbled
- 1/4 c. water
- 1/4 c. red wine vinegar
- 1/4 tsp sugar
- 1Â 1/2 tsp lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp freshly-grnd black pepper
- 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 3/4 tsp dry mustard
- 1/2 x garlic clove chopped
- 1/4 c. extra virgin olive oil
- 3/4 c. vegetable oil
Direcciones
- For the Special French Dressing, combine water, vinegar, sugar, lemon juice, salt, pepper, Worcestershire, mustard, garlic, extra virgin olive oil and vegetable oil. Chill. Shake well before using. (Makes 1 1/2 c.)
- Mix together lettuce, watercress, endive and romaine in large wide bowl or possibly individual wide shallow bowls. Add in chives. Arrange tomatoes, chicken, bacon, avocado and Large eggs in narrow strips or possibly wedges across top of greens. Sprinkle with cheese. Chill.
- At serving time toss with 1/2 c. Special French Dressing. Pass remaining dressing.
