Receta Overlook Cafe Beef Macaroni Soup

Ingredientes
- 1 lb Grnd beef
- 2 Tbsp. Vegetable oil
- 1 med Onion, diced
- 2 c. Celery, minced
- 1/3 c. Red wine
- 2 c. Tomato puree or possibly tomato sauce
- 1 c. Tomatoes, fresh, diced
- 1 x salt and grnd black pepper
- 1 c. Elbow macaroni, uncooked
- 3 can 14 1/2-oz can beef broth
- Â Â (or possibly use beef base for 6 c. of water)
Direcciones
- Fry grnd beef, drain any grease and remove grnd beef from pan. Add in oil and saute/fry onion and celery till translucent/soft; add in wine, tomato puree and fresh tomatoes, and simmer 30 min. Add in slat and pepper to taste.
- Cook macaroni till tender in boiling water and drain well. Add in grnd beef, liquid removed macaroni and broth to tomato mix and simmer till heated through.
- Makes 8 to 10 servings.
