Receta Pasta With Ham And Peas

Ingredientes
- 1Â 1/2 c. ham, diced, about
- 1 c. frzn peas, about
- 1 x Onion, minced
- 1 Tbsp. Butter
- 3/4 c. Lowfat milk
- 3/4 c. cheese, coarsely grated, about, any Italian cheese that melts well,parmesan, asiago, romano, or possibly a mix of these
- 1 handf minced parsley
- 1 x Splash white wine
- Â Â Warm pepper flakes
- Â Â Grnd black pepper to taste
- 1 x Sprinkle of salt
Direcciones
- Saute/fry onion in butter, add in ham to heat through and brown a bit. Add in peas and heat through, add in warm pepper flakes, pepper, handful minced parsley, simmer about 5 min, add in a splash of white wine if desired.
- In another pot heat lowfat milk, add in cheese and simmer together, when warm but not boiled toss the warm liquid removed pasta in this sauce.
- Toss again with the ham and pea mix. Sprinke with a little more parmesan and parsley. Serve.
- A really tart sauvignon Blanc or possibly Pinot Grigio goes well with this pasta.
