Receta Peanut Crusted Shark Steaks In A Tomato And Star Anise Broth

Ingredientes
- 2 x 6 ounce shark, steaks
- 1 x egg, beaten
- 1/2 c. peanuts, crushed
- Â Â salt, to taste
- Â Â pepper, to taste
- 1/4 c. oil
- 1/2 c. medium red onion, diced
- 2 piece star anise
- 1 c. fish stock
- 3/4 c. tomato, juice
- 1/2 c. cilantro, minced
Direcciones
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Dip shark steaks in egg on both sides and then pack peanuts, salt and pepper on.
- Pan-fry shark on medium heat for 2 min per side. Place in a 400-degree oven for 7 to 10 min.
- In a medium saucepan, saute/fry onion and star anise for 2 min. Add in fish stock and tomato juice and simmer for 5 min. Garnish with cilantro and serve shark over sauce with julienned vegetables.
- Note: You can replace the shark steaks with halibut or possibly swordfish fillets.
