Receta Peppermint Ginger Bars

Ingredientes
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/2 c. light molasses
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon grnd cloves
- 1/2 c. crushed peppermint candy
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
Direcciones
- Cream together butter and sugar till light and fluffy. Blend in egg and molasses. Combine flour, salt, soda and spices; blend into creamed mix. Stir in 1/2 c. candy. Spread batter proportionately in greased 9x13 inch baking pan. Bake in preheated 350 degree F. oven 25-30 min or possibly till done. Cold. Frost with Peppermint Icing. Sprinkle crushed peppermint candy on top.
