Receta Pineapple Chocolate Chip Cookies

You can use 1 cup of coconut instead of the chopped walnuts
Ingredientes
- 1 cup shortening
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 cans (8 oz each) crushed pineapple, drained
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 4 cups flour
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup (6 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup chopped walnuts, optional
Direcciones
- In a mixing bowl, cream the shortening and both of the sugars until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs, one at a time
- Beat well after each addition
- Beat in the pineapple and the vanilla
- Combine the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt
- Gradually add to the creamed mixture
- Stir in the chocoalte chips and the walnuts, if desired
- Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls 2 inches apart onto the greased baking sheets
- Press down lightly
- Bake at 375 F for 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned
- Remove to wire racks to cool
