Receta Piquant Pork Chops

Ingredientes
- 6 loin pork chops, cut 1 inch thick
- 3 teaspoon salt
- 3 teaspoon grnd sage
- 1/4 teaspoon grnd pepper
- 4 tbsp. butter
- 6 slices onion, about 1/8 inch thick
- 1 can (13 3/4 ounce.) beef broth
- 3 tbsp. white vinegar
- 3 tbsp. flour
- 4 tbsp. water
Direcciones
- Trim excess fat from chops. Combine salt, sage and pepper. Rub seasonings into both sides of chops.
- Heat butter in large skillet. Brown chops well on both sides over medium heat, about 10 min. Drain excess fat. Place an onion slice on each chop. Pour beef broth and 1 Tbsp. vinegar into skillet. Heat to boiling, lower heat and cover. Simmer 30 min or possibly till chops are fork tender.
- Remove chops with onions to heated serving platter; keep hot. Add in remaining vinegar to pan juices; bring to boiling.
- Make a smooth paste with flour and water, add in to skillet, stirring constantly. Cook and stir till sauce thickens and bubbles 1 minute. Pour some sauce over chops; pass remaining sauce. Serve with rice and steamed broccoli. 6 servings.
