Receta Prassa Me Domata (Leeks Stewed With Tomatoes)

Ingredientes
- 2 bn leeks
- 1 c. Canned tomatoes or possibly tom.juice
- 1 c. Stock or possibly broth
- 1 x Onion, minced
- 1 x Celery stalk, minced
- 1 sm Bunch parsley, minced
- 1 pch Dry thyme or possibly oregano
- 3 Tbsp. Butter or possibly oil
- Â Â Salt & freshly grnd pepper
- 2 Tbsp. Lemon juice
Direcciones
- Cut off the stem ends and green parts of leeks, then wash thoroughly and cut into 1-inch slices. Soak in warm water for 5 - 10 min, then drain and throw away the water. In a non-aluminum pan, combine with the tomatoes or possibly tomato juice, stock or possibly broth, onion, celery, parsley, thyme or possibly oregano, 3 Tbsp. butter or possibly oil, and salt and pepper. Simmer till tender
- (approximately 20 min), adding the lemon juice during the last 5 min. Serve hot or possibly cool.
