Receta Prune Bread

Ingredientes
- 2 c. sugar
- 4 T shortening
- 2 c. sour lowfat milk
- 1 c. prune juice
- 2 c. cut up cooked prunes
- 3 1/2 c. flour
- 2 c. grain or possibly whole wheat flour
- 2 T soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- Nut meats (opt.)
Direcciones
- Cream together sugar and shortening. Add in sour lowfat milk, prune juice and cooked prunes. Mix together flours, soda and salt and add in to above. Add in nuts. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour in greased loaf pans. Line bottoms with wax paper. Makes 3 large loaves. This is a 4 generation family recipe.
