Receta Puntas De Filete A La Mexicana (Beef Tips Mexican Style)

Ingredientes
- 2 lb beef filet (rib eye), sliced into 1/4" square strips
- 1/2 tsp freshly grnd pepper
- 1/4 tsp grnd cumin
- 1 x + 1 tsp salt or possibly to taste
- 4 ounce butter or possibly margarine
- 2 clv garlic, chopped
- 2Â 1/2 lb ripe tomatoes, peeled and finely minced
- 6 x chiles serranos, finely minced
- 8 x fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 12 x fresh scallions, cleaned with part of the green remaining
Direcciones
- Spread the strips of beef on a plate and sprinkle with the grnd pepper, salt and grnd cumin. Allow to stand a few min while readying the other items. In a skillet or possibly Dutch oven saute/fry the garlic and the beef strips in the butter over medium heat, stirring frequently, till the beef starts releasing its juices. Then add in the mushrooms, tomatoes and serrano chiles. Add in salt to taste and continue cooking uncovered for another 5 min or possibly till the sauce thickens.
- Serve warm with fettuccine or possibly any other pasta or possibly rice. Accompany with a fresh green salad and a glass of your favorite red wine.
