Receta Red Sauce ( Salsa Rossa )

Ingredientes
- 2 x red peppers grilled (qv)
- 4 x ripe fresh tomatoes skinned or possibly 1 x 250g tin plum tomatoes liquid removed of their juices
- 2 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
- 1 clv garlic peeled and finely minced
- 1 x fresh red chilli seeded and finely minced
- 1 Tbsp. fresh marjoram leaves
- Â Â sea salt and freshly grnd black pepper
- 2 sm dry chillies crumbled
Direcciones
- Peel and seed the peppersthen chop the flesh finely.
- Heat the extra virgin olive oil in a saucepan and gently fry the garlic till it starts to colour.
- Add in the chilli and whole marjoram leaves and tomatoes and cook for 30 min or possibly till the tomatoes are reduced.
- Add in the peppers and cook for a further lo min.
- Season with salt and pepper and dry chilli.
