An easy rice recipe that can be made in microwave in minutes.It is a hit with kids too.You can mix and choose what you prefer to add to this recipe.I have added ham,you could add chicken and herb loaf slices or plain smoked chicken shreds or make it vegetarian by adding only veges like grated carrot or cabbage,cauliflower and so on.You can serve this with coleslaw or poatao and gravy.Serve hot or cold.

  • 50Gm butter
  • 1 small onion
  • 2 eggs
  • 150gm sliced ham
  • 3 cups cooked rice
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2-3 rops honey
  • 1/2 tsp chilli powder
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsely

Direcciones

  1. Melt butter on high power until just melted.
  2. Peel and chop onion,combine with butter and cook for 2 mins.
  3. Separate eggs,beat yolks.Dice ham.
  4. Stir together onion and butter,egg yolks,ham,cooked rice,salt,honey,chilli powder and parsely.
  5. Beat egg whites to soft peaks and fold into the mixture gently.
  6. Turn into a small lightly greased microwavable ring mold,smooth top,elevatte and cook on 70 % power for 10 mins.
  7. serve hot or cold. with coleslaw,chips and potato and gravy on the side.
