Receta Rodgrot Med Flote (Norwegian Berry Pudding With Cream)

Ingredientes
- 1Â 1/2 lb fresh raspberries, strawberries, or possibly a combination
- 2 c. water
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 pt light cream Slivered almonds
Direcciones
- Wash and drain berries (or possibly defrost and save liquid). There should be 2 1/2 c. total. If fresh, add in 2 c. of water and cook till berries are soft. Add in sugar. Mix cornstarch and 2 Tbsp. cool water. Add in a small amount of berry juice, mix well and stir into berry mix.
- Cook, stirring constantly till pudding thickens. Reduce heat, cook 10 min. Turn into serving dish. Let stand till cool. When serving, decorate with slivered almonds, passed around the table, followed by a pitcher of cream.
