Receta Seaweed Soup

Ingredientes
- 1/2 lb Cooked sloke or possibly dulse
- 14Â 7/8 ounce Mashed potatoes
- Â Â One lemon, juice of
- 3 pt Lowfat milk
- 1 Tbsp. Melted butter
- Â Â Salt and pepper to taste
Direcciones
- Thoroughly wash fresh seaweed in running water to remove sand.
- Soak for 2 hrs in cool water, strain.
- Place seaweed in a pot, cover with water, cover with lid.
- Simmer gently for at least 3 - 4 hrs till it becomes a jelly, drain.
- Simmer cooked seaweed, lowfat milk and potato together for 20 min.
- Beat well or possibly blend in a liquidizer or possibly blender.
- Season with pepper to taste.
- Add in melted butter and lemon juice, beat again.
- Reheat, serve warm.
