Dust the baked cookies with sanding sugar for sparkle
Ingredientes
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 3-oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp orange zest
- 2 1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
Direcciones
- Blend the butter, shortening, and cream cheese
- Add the sugar, egg yolk, vanilla extract, and orange zest
- Mix well
- Set aside
- Combine the flour, salt, and cinnamon
- Stir into the butter mixture
- Chill for 30 minutes
- Place the dough into a cookie press
- Form the snowflakes one inch apart onto ungreased baking sheets
- Bake at 350 F for 12 to 15 minutes
