Receta Split Pea Hummus

Ingredientes
- 1 c. Dry green split peas
- 1/2 c. Tahini
- 1 Tbsp. Extra virgin olive oil
- 1/3 c. Lemon juice
- 2 x Garlic cloves, chopped
- 1Â 1/2 tsp Dry mint
- 4 Tbsp. ,water
Direcciones
- Cook the split peas in 3 c. of water for 45 to 60 min on the stovetop, or possibly 8 to 12 min in a pressure cooker.
- Place all ingredietns in a food processor and blend till smooth and creamy, adding sufficient water to achieve desired consistency.
- Yields: 2 1/2cups.
- Serve at room temperature.
