  1. Pluck stems from mushroom tops, and cut stems in tiny pcs. Fry sausage, adding the cut stems to mix. Drain grease from meat; cold. About an hour later, mix the cooked sausage and stems with softened cream cheese. Add in some green onion tops and mix well. Stuff the mushroom tops with mix. Bake on a cookie sheet at 325 till light brown, about 20 to 25 min. Good warm or possibly cool.
