Receta Tandoori Chicken
Long process but, well worth the wait.
Great served with dried current rice - recipe to follow,
Ingredientes
- Process One
- 12 chicken pieces (drums or thighs - skin and fat removed)
- 3 cups plain yogurt +1 T lemon juice
- Marinate chicken in yogurt overnight
- Process Two
- Mix the following ingredients to form a paste.
- 5 oz tomato paste
- 6 bay leaves (crushed)
- 3 tsp salt
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 1/4 tsp cardamom
- 1 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- 1/2 tsp coriander
Direcciones
- Wipe off some of the yogurt marinade from chicken pieces and rub on spiced tomato paste until well coated.
- Broil 15 minutes on each side on low rack in oven until golden brown. Turn pieces for even browning.
- Hint: Use a tin foiled lined pan to catch the drippings for easy clean up.
