Receta To Die For Mashed Potatoes

Ingredientes
- 6 med red new potato, scrubbed, and, left, whole
- 1/2 head garlic, cloves, peeled
- 2 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
- 3 sprg fresh thyme
- 1 sprg fresh rosemary
- Â Â cracked black pepper
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1/2 c. lowfat sour cream
- 1 pch freshly grated nutmeg
- 1 Tbsp. fresh parsley
- 1 Tbsp. fresh chives
- Â Â salt, to taste
- Â Â pepper, to taste
Direcciones
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.In a large roasting pan toss potatoes and garlic cloves in extra virgin olive oil.
- Season with salt and plenty of cracked black pepper.
- Add in thyme and rosemary.
- Roast for 40 to 45 min or possibly till potatoes are golden brown and tender.
- Toss occasionally to prevent garlic from burning.
- Remove from the oven and let the potatoes cold in the pan about 10 min.
- Mash potatoes and garlic while still in the roasting pan with a hand masher.
- Leave skins on and potatoes chunky. Add in butter, lowfat sour cream, nutmeg and fresh herbs and stir just to blend.
