Receta Tomato And Cabbage Soup

Ingredientes
- 1/4 c. Butter
- 1/3 c. Flour
- 1 c. Tomato juice
- 1/2 x Bay leaf
- 1 Tbsp. Minced onion
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 Tbsp. Sugar
- 1Â 1/2 c. Evaporated lowfat milk
- 1Â 1/4 c. Finely minced cooked cabbage, (see note below)
- 1 c. Water
Direcciones
- Heat butter and blend in flour: add in tomato juice and stir over low heat till mix boils and thickens. Add in bay leaf, onion, salt, and sugar to evaporated lowfat milk, and heat separately in top of double-boiler over warm water. Just before serving, lift out the bay leaf and add in cabbage and water
- (I use the cooking water from cabbage). Slowly stir the tomato mix into the lowfat milk and cabbage. Serve immediately. 5 servings
