Receta Tortilla Soup
This is so easy. You can use some canned ingredients and some fresh. It simmers in the crock pot to marry the flavors. All you have to do is cook the chicken.
It's great the next day cold.
Ingredientes
- 1 1/2 lbs chicken-chopped
- 1/2 green bell pepper-chopped
- 2 cups of chicken stock
- 1/2 red onion-chopped
- 1 can whole kernel corn
- 1 can pinto beans
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 1/2 chipotle pepper chopped
- 1/2 cup green chili sauce
- 1 T chili power
- 1 T salt
- 2 T olive oil
Direcciones
- 1. add olive oil to a warm skillit, add chopped chicken and brown. add 1/2 tablespoon of salt and the chili powder.
- 2.add all the other ingredients to the crock pot and put on warm.
- add the cooked chicken
- 3 simmer for 8 hours.
