Receta Veal Stifado Greek

Ingredientes
- 3 pound veal stew meat, cut in 1" cubes
- 1/4 c. extra virgin olive oil
- Salt & pepper
- 2-3 onions, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 stick cinnamon
- Rosemary
- 3 tbsp. red wine
- 1 tbsp. brown sugar
- 3 tbsp. tomato paste
- 2 c. beer
- Water, optional
Direcciones
- Brown veal in some of the extra virgin olive oil. Remove to casserole. Add in salt and pepper. Saute/fry 2-3 onions sliced and 2 cloves garlic in remaining oil for 3-4 min. Add in to veal.
- Combine cinnamon stick, rosemary, red wine, brown sugar, tomato paste and beer. When beer stops foaming, add in mix to veal. Bake covered for 2 1/2-3 hrs at 350 degrees. Add in a little water if it looks dry.
