Receta Amish Broccoli And Cheese Soup

Ingredientes
- 3 T butter
- 1/2 c. minced onion
- 2 c. fresh or possibly 1 (10 ounce) pkg. minced frzn broccoli
- 2 T flour
- 2 c. chicken broth/stock or possibly 2 c. water and 2 chicken bouillon cubes
- 4 ounce linguine, broken into 2-3 inch pcs
- 1/4 teaspoon grnd white pepper
- Dash of garlic pwdr
- 2 c. lowfat milk
- 4 ounce American cheese
Direcciones
- Heat butter; add in onions and cook till tender. Add in broccoli and mix well. Sprinkle with flour and cook, stirring frequently, about 3 min. Blend in broth gradually and simmer. Add in linguine and cook 10-15 min, stirring frequently.Stir in lowfat milk and pepper and simmer 5 min. Add in cheese; heat several min more, stirring, till cheese is melted. Makes about 5 servings.
