Receta Apple Oatmeal Chewies

Ingredientes
- 1 1/2 c. Flour
- 1 c. Brown sugar packed
- 1/2 c. Butter or possibly margarine soft
- 1/4 c. Sugar
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract
- 3/4 tsp Baking soda
- 2 x Large eggs
- 2 c. Quick cooking oats raw
- 1 c. Walnuts or possibly pecans minced
- 1 lrg Golden brown delicious apple peeled and diced
Direcciones
- About 2 hrs before serving or possibly early in the day: 1. Preheat oven to 350. Grease 13" by 9" baking pan. Into large bowl, measure first 8 ingredients and 1/2 tsp. salt. With mixer at low speed, beat ingredients till well blended, occasionally scraping bowl with rubber spatula. mix in oats, walnuts and apple. Spread dough proportionately in pan.
- 2. Bake 35 min or possibly till toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cold in pan on wire rack. Cut lengthwise into 4 strips, then cut each strip crosswise into 5 pcs. Store bars in tightly covered container.
