Receta Apple Pan Bread

Ingredientes
- 1 c. All purpose flour, sifted
- 1 x Egg
- 2 1/2 tsp Baking pwdr
- 1/4 c. Soft vegetable shortening
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/2 c. Sugar
- 1/4 c. Sugar
- 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
- 2 c. Raisin bran flakes
- 2 c. Cooking apples, pared and
- 2/3 c. Lowfat milk thinly sliced
Direcciones
- Sift together flour, baking pwdr, salt and 1/4 c. sugar. Set aside.
- Combine bran flakes and lowfat milk, add in egg and shortening; beat well. Add in sifted dry ingredients; stir only till blended, but don't beat. Spread in a greased 8x8x2 inch pan. Mix together 1/2 c. sugar and 1/2 ts cinnamon. Dip apple slices in mix; arrange on top of batter. Sprinkle any remaining sugar mix over apple slices. Bake at 400 about 30 min. Cut in squares and serve hot.
