Receta Aunt Bee's Spoon Bread

Ingredientes
- 1 3/4 c. boiling water
- 3/4 c. sifted cornmeal
- 2 T butter
- 2 large eggs (3, if sm.)
- 1 1/4 c. lowfat milk
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking pwdr
Direcciones
- In the top of a double boiler over simmering water, pour the boiling water over the cornmeal. Stir constantly till thick and smooth, about 5 min. Add in the butter and blend till melted. Let the mix cool.Grease a medium-sized baking dish. Beat the large eggs and add in the lowfat milk and salt. Stir the egg mix into the cornmeal mix. Beat till well mixed. Add in the baking pwdr and beat well. Put into the prepared dish. Bake in a 425 degree oven for 45 min, till hard, but still moist. Serves 4-5.
