Receta Baked Almond Honey And Apple Pudding

Ingredientes
- 450 gm cooking apples (weighed after peeling and coring)
- 1 Tbsp. water
- 3 x level Tbsp. honey
- 75 gm breadcrumbs
- 75 gm butter or possibly margarine
- 110 gm demerara sugar
- 50 gm grnd almonds
- 1 x egg beaten cream to serve
Direcciones
- Preheat oven to gas mark 5 375 F/190C.You will need 1 buttered1.25litre baking dish.
- Slice the apples straight into a saucepan add in the honey and the water and stew them gently till they are soft (this will take roughly 5 - 10 min).
- Then add in the breadcrumbs to the apples and pour the mix into a baking dish.
- Next rinse out the saucepan dry it and add in the butter and heat over a gentle heat then take it off the heat and stir in the sugar and grnd almonds and finally the beaten egg.
- Spread this mix over the apple mix and bake the pudding for 25-35 min or possibly till the top is a nice golden.
- Serve very warm with chilled pouring cream.
