Receta Banana Walnut Upside Down Cakes

Ingredientes
- 3 Tbsp. Unsalted butter, softened
- 2 Tbsp. Firmly packed brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp. Lightly toasted minced walnuts
- 1 x Banana
- 1/4 c. All-purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp Baking pwdr
- 1/8 tsp Grnd cardamom
- 3 Tbsp. Granulated sugar
- 1 lrg Egg
- 1/4 tsp Vanilla
Direcciones
- Preheat oven to 350F.
- In a small saucepan, heat 2 Tbsp. butter and divide between two 1-c. ramekins. Sprinkle brown sugar and walnuts over butter. Cut banana into 1/4-inch-thick slices and arrange over walnuts, overlapping and pressing lightly to fit.
- In a small bowl, whisk together flour, baking pwdr, cardamom, and a healthy pinch salt. In a bowl with an electric mixer, beat together remaining Tbsp. butter and granulated sugar till combined well. Beat in egg and vanilla till combined and beat in flour mix till batter is just combined. Divide batter between ramekins and bake on a baking sheet in middle of oven till a tester comes out clean, about 25 min. Run a sharp knife around edges of ramekins and invert cakes onto plates.
