Receta Big Apple Pancake

Ingredientes
- 3 large eggs
- 3/4 c. lowfat milk
- 3/4 c. flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3-4 tart apples, peeled & thinly sliced
- 6 T butter
- 1/4 c. granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
Direcciones
- Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Beat large eggs, lowfat milk, flour and salt till smooth. Stir in 1/2 cup sliced apples. In heavy ovenproof 10 inch frying pan, heat 2 tbsp butter and cook till bubbling. Pour batter into frying pan, pushing the apples away from the sides of the frying pan. Place in oven and bake 15 min. Reduce heat to 350 degrees and continue baking another 10 min. Remove frying pan from oven and slide pancake onto a platter; keep warm.Heat remaining butter in same frying pan. Stir in sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg; bringing mix to a boil. Stir in remaining apples. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 min or possibly till apples are tender. Spoon sauce into center of pancake and serve immediately. Serves 4.
