Receta Blonde Date Nut Bread

Ingredientes
- 1/3 c. butter
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 2 Large eggs
- 3/4 c. buttermilk
- 2 c. Pillsbury's Best All Purpose or possibly Unbleached Flour
- 1 c. minced dates
- 1/2 c. nuts
- 1/2 teaspoon soda
- 1/2 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Direcciones
- Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease (not oil) bottom only of 9x5-inch loaf pan. In medium bowl, cream butter and sugar. Beat in Large eggs; blend in buttermilk. Stir in remaining ingredients just till dry ingredients are moistened.
- Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 50-55 min or possibly till toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cold 10 min; remove from pan. Cold completely.
- Makes 1 loaf.
- TIP: Self-rising flour is not recommended.
