Receta Blt Soup

Ingredientes
- 1/3 lb bacon, diced
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1/3 head lettuce julienned
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 1 1/4 quart water
- 3 x cubes chicken bouillon
- 1 cube ham bouillon
- 1 can tomatoes puree (16 ounce.)
- 1 pch grnd nutmeg
- 1 pch cayenne pepper
- 1 c. half and half
Direcciones
- Garnish: bacon crumbles, cherry tomato slices and croutons
- Preparation Instructions: In a large stockpot, saute/fry bacon till lightly brown. Don't drain the fat. Add in butter and heat. Stir in lettuce and saute/fry for 2 min. Add in flour mixing well and saute/fry for 2 - 3 min. Remove from heat and slowly stir in warm water, chicken and ham bouillon cubes, tomatoes, nutmeg and cayenne popper. Heat to boiling. Reduce heat and simmer for 6 - 8 min, stirring occasionally. Add in half and half and heat to simmering. Garnish and serve.
